Kobushi Factory Single Covers

This week the covers for Kobushi Factory’s first single were released. I’m not normally someone who pays too much attention to such things but I’m so positive about this group that I just had to share.

Hamachan and Rei again! My two favourites are at the front a lot.

The single is Dosukoi! Kenkyo ni Daitan / Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san no Uta / Nen ni wa nen (nen’iri ver. [careful ver] and is released on second of September. The ramen song is a cover of a Sharam Q song and is being used as the theme for a drama called “Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san”. I’ve watched it and…well it’s got hardly any plot, lots of food porn and yet is very entertaining. It stars ex-MomoClo member Hayami Akari alongside a really cute performance from Miyama Karen. She plays the kind of cute, fun, slightly bonkers and really positive character that is sure to be popular with idol fans. It’s worth a watch if you don’t mind something so character driven that they forgot to have much of a plot.

I’ve already pre-ordered a copy of Kobushi Factory’s regular edition. I would like another version too though.  I’m not sure which version is which but Hama sitting while the others stand catches the eye the most so far. They are almost all great covers for me though considering my two favourites.

Kobushi Factory. There for the scary post-C-ute future. For those scarcely worth thinking about times post-Nacky, Maimi and Airi that will inevitably come. Still look! Cute girls with catchy songs. All hail the next C-ute!

  1. Kobushi Factory is supposed to be the new Berryz Kobo though. 😛 People say they are continuing in the same spirit. I personally don’t see much similarity (and I think you don’t either).

As for the Koizumi-san drama, it’s basically a ramen shop ad disguised as a mini drama, isn’t it. Hence the lack of plot. “Real” full length jdramas are very different. Such an entertaining ad though, and effective!

Which regular edition did you pre-order?
